The Assissination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

July7

Rented this move lately.  Pretty dry.  It made me think you really need to be wary of those around you who are very weak and can be turned.  Robert Ford reminded me of other similar characters that harmed very powerful characters.  Remember the son in “The Good Shepherd”?  Remember the little disfigured guy in the Spartan film “300″?  There are some people who think they love when really they are driven by jealousy.

Did Jesse James really give to the poor?  Or was he a fascinatingly cruel but adventurous character whose memory was adjusted to make him more beloved?  I don’t know.
