This movie is not a love story. This movie is not political. There are no guns. There is no glamour or bling. There’s a lot of lawyers. This movie is quiet good. Michael Clayton is a movie that shows how life catches up with you. Little decisions slowly build up and define you into something you would never have chosen for yourself in the beginning but somehow crap here you are. The main character, Michael Clayton, played by George Clooney has been with a law firm for 17 years. He’s not partner. He’s more important than that, he’s the “janitor” which means he cleans up legal messes for big high paying clients. For example, a bajillionaire does a hit and run and then the law firm sends him.
The strongest character in the movie is a guy named Marty who’s a legal genious off his meds. He’s not the typical crazy with the shaking nonsense.
I liked it.
