Absolute garbage. Crappiest movie I’ve ever seen at a theater. There a few scenes that made me laugh out loud but really not worth sitting around for. Tipu fell asleep and started snoring. I had to elbow his ribs repeatedly to stop the snoring but he never did wake up. At the ending credits I finally hit him hard enough to leave. We got a few chuckles from the others sitting around us.
This movie is not a love story. This movie is not political. There are no guns. There is no glamour or bling. There’s a lot of lawyers. This movie is quiet good. Michael Clayton is a movie that shows how life catches up with you. Little decisions slowly build up and define you into something you would never have chosen for yourself in the beginning but somehow crap here you are. The main character, Michael Clayton, played by George Clooney has been with a law firm for 17 years. He’s not partner. He’s more important than that, he’s the “janitor” which means he cleans up legal messes for big high paying clients. For example, a bajillionaire does a hit and run and then the law firm sends him.
The strongest character in the movie is a guy named Marty who’s a legal genious off his meds. He’s not the typical crazy with the shaking nonsense.
I liked it.
Holidays are coming and that means you’ll finally have enough time to go to the movies. One movie I think you’ll enjoy is American Gangster starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. The movie is based on a true story. It’s about drugs in the 70s and how everyone was involved in the illegal dealings. The movie is flawless. You might not like it but you can’t criticize that it wasn’t done well. Each scene is meticulous and required to tell the story. There’s a lot of violence. There’s some nudity in the background (but it’s not sexual, there’s a bunch of women who pack drugs and aren’t allowed to wear clothes to prevent stealing). Denzel is one of my favourites. I’m not such a Crowe fan but he definitely impressed me in this film.

I was some what reluctant to try my taste buds at this restaurant. I had grown quite annoyed with the ridiculousness of Organza and its $10 crap tasting rice bread. However, I am a trooper and I do try to be open-minded and investigate before jumping to conclusions.
In order to be frugal and protect myself from a complete disaster of a meal Mohammad and I shared a mushroom/bread appetizer and the elk main course. We were very pleased with the meal. It was what I consider to be expensive but I’m used to family run ethnic restaurants with poor decor but amazing vibrant food. Everything at Dandelion is organic and a lot of it is locally grown. The meat was prepared very very well. It was soft and flavourful. I think they have the expertise to make any meat taste good so I’m not sure if I was in awe of the elk or their culinary prowess.
Their non-alcoholic is something to see. Many different fresh fruit and vegetables juices, combos and smoothies. I didn’t end up having one because I was being cheap and was intimidated by liquid forms of spinach.
It was in general a enjoyable experience and something to try if you already haven’t.
