Two summers ago you all helped me have a really good time in Toronto. So I’m returning for more travel advice. December 28th to 30th I would like to attend RIS in Toronto. However the previous four days I’d like to check out Ottawa and Montreal. So I need help planning this fiasco. First of all, what’s there to see and do in Ottawa in Montreal? Secondly how best to go about the transportation? I was thinking busing or training between the cities and then renting cars within the city. That seems quite expensive though. I could rely solely on public transportation in Ottawa and Montreal but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea or not. In Toronto it was fine but I don’t know if it’s wise for Ottawa and Montreal.
So please. Give all the advice you can people!
Dress for the weather, and have fun
crap advice. try again.
ok, i’m sorry that wasn’t nice. it’s not crap advice. it’s “no duh” advice. i was hoping for sth more substantial. especially from you since you’ve hung out in that area some.
nopes, thatz what I said have fun, cause I have never been to montreal or ottawa, would be nice:)
Of course in Toronto, as you know it is super easy to go by bus/subway all around Toronto and surrounding areas and it is fun too!
As far as Montreal I have heard it is very confusing to get around…but who knows. And itz not a far drive from Toronto to Montreal, so maybe drive there but Ottawa, maybe train, but then again that does cost the big bucks…
Tell me what u do
i dont think we’re going anymore. too expensive. sucks.
were u just going for fun? Just to see those places?
primary objective was RIS but since we already checked out toronto we wanted to see montreal and ottawa. but now likely nothing will happen. oh well. you win some you lose some.
