Finally saw this movie. Kinda glad I didn’t bother seeing it at the theater though. The acting and singing was great. However, I found out that I hold a deep hatred of musicals. I grit my teeth every time they were singing/communicating with each other. I much preferred when they just acted normally. I have not seen Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Evita, etc and I don’t think I ever will unless forced to.

That being said, I think I like drama. I gravitate towards it. I like cat fights. I saw this movie because I wanted to see the Beyonce vs. Jennifer Hudson spat for myself. Jennifer Hudson seems to have deserved her Oscar win. Beyonce did well, but not well enough to seriously even consider being nominated.
