March29
I will be in Calgary for like two days in April. One day is already completely booked with work related activities. The other day, Saturday, looks empty right now. I always thought that if I go to Calgary I would for sure check out Jann Arden’s diner. I just looked it up and she closed it two years ago. So any suggestions on where to go and what to do? Keep in mind I have no money. However I will be buying some needed stuff there to take advantage of the lower taxes. My Saucony running shoes are badly need of replacement. They were a good a shoe and did me proud but I think their age is starting to show. Also, the camera that I broke will need to be replaced as well.
Hmm, go to Chinook Centre and check out the TIME CAPSUAL!!! And it’s a huge mall, so yea have fun
There is also the largest outdoor skate park in downtown Calgary…called Millennium Park…so go there and watch the skaters…better than the forks
hehe
Here is Chinook Centre’s address and phone number:
Macleod Tr. and Glenmore SW Phone: 403-255-0613
LOL Calgary with their 35 cents pay phones, so if you use one be prepared to have more than quarters haha
So, I know you phoned me a bunch of times. I of course picked the best time to tell you to call me whenever, it has been a terrible week and now it’s too late to phone you. I’m sorry.
lubna: thanks
zz: hi, it’s ok.
Hey Nusraat. I just back form Calgary on Sunday and it was a blast. Chinook Centre wasn’t that great, I think I was expecting too much. I did enjoy walking around downton and taking everything in. I love taking pictures, so I did a lot of people watching. If you can, go to Calgary Tower, the sight is amazing!!
thanks! i hope it’s warm when we go. i like walking as well.
Come on Chinook centre is awesome, you can see the Capsule and they have a merry go round indoors, and it is a very huge mall so it is awesome for shopping…beats any Winterpeg mall thatz for sure!
Lol Calgary’s weather is so unpredictable…in 1999 in August they got a few inches of snow!!!
Hope you have fun whatever you do, and give us a little blog about it, if you can go to the mountains do that!
