The food here is fabulous. It’s Italian. Come with a good appetite but don’t be in a rush. I had the seafood risotto. It was fresh, flavourful and intensely filling. It had calamari, mussels and shrimp with fresh tomatoes, onions and asparagus. Tipu had some chicken pasta dish. I’m sick of chicken. I’ll eat anything but chicken right now. Anyways, his was good too. Wild red tomato sauce, thin sliced chicken and cheese.
The environment is cozy and sophisticated. Since the food comes slowly people have a lot of time to sit around relaxed and catch up with loved ones.
The main pleasure was their chocolate cake. They don’t make it themselves, they have it outsourced but it’s honestly the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life and I’ve been around when it comes to chocolate cake. The cake is called “Death by Chocolate” and it has ten layers of chocolate!!! There’s a ganache layer, there’s this crunchy cookie layer, there’s a mousse layer… you get the picture. My Lord!!! It was amazing.
5/5
the cake sounds great…!
Wow you put the word out for these restaurants…do you secretly work for them lol!
I thoroughly enjoy your reviews of movies and restaurants, fyi. I often use your opinion when considering something for myself, for example, where to consume next.
GO YOU. *CLAP* RAH RAH NUSRAH! Okay. I’m lame.
lu: i can hardly handle grad studies, so no i dont work.
zz: great that you enjoy the reviews.
I agree! My chicken with pasta was also super tasty (I forget what it was called.. something in Italian). And yeah your dessert looked amazing. I was jealous. Poor Fan being allergic to garlic. That must be rough.
but you still do good promoting the great spots in winnipeg. you know after reading your blogs I can really feel that atleast winnipeg has SOMETHING!!!
New goal: get a Nusraat restaurant review for every semi-annual engineering dinner!
rob: didnt see your chicken, but i guess everyone was happy w/ their meals. Fan’s also allergic to onion and he’s a strict vegetarian.
