X-Men: The Last Stand

The thing I love about the X-Men is that each character runs so deep you can have an entire movie about just one of them. Lots of action. I don’t really go for action though. What I liked was how groups of people with different backgrounds were motivated towards some end. There was Magneto who referred to some of his followers as pawns. Magneto kept tight control. Then there was Charles who let his followers run so free they at times created anarchy. However it was Charles’ approach that seemed to nose ahead. Can we translate that to real life?

From a mathematical standpoint you need diversity and randomness to disrupt your solution out of a local minima in the hopes of finding a global minima.

  1. [...] Interesting movie “review” If you are going to watch it, sit in the far back/middle… so that you are protected from the lopsided sorround sound Halle Berry is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous! [...]

Magneto? don’t you mean Gandalf? :P

I was actually a little disappointed with this movie. It’s like they tried to cram way too much story in, and you didn’t get a whole lot of detail on certain things. The fate of certain characters also kinda bothered me. But there was lots of cool action and stuff, which is always good. The bridge scene was pretty awesome too. I think I would have given this movie just a pi.

Did you see the thing at the end of the credits?? Wasn’t that crazy??
