This movie screams committee creativity. It was obviously written and produced by a group of people who debated and calculated about how to include various tidbits of as many movie genres as possible. It has a lot of “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days”. It has a weird quirky roommate who’s typically stark, ghost complexioned with tragic black hair who’s domineering over men but still manages to find love comically. It has a bunch of guys who do guy sports and bond the poster child way. It has a man who keeps getting bit by random animals. So it’s a lot of bits and patches. However, it’s still ok.
