Organza my ass

So I finally checked out the organic store in confusion corner. Grief. Everything there is beyond expensive. It’s too rich for my blood. Tipu bought this rice bread object with no yeast. It expires this coming September. I had a taste and I realized it’s actually meant as packing material. I think that’s how they bring in their produce. To say that the bread tastes bad would be an injustice. It’s simply not meant for consumption. It’s dense, and powdery, and leaves this horrible sour after taste in your mouth. Toasting makes no difference. What’s worrisome is the bread doesn’t even brown when heated. The small loaf of rice bread w/ no yeast and ten slices cost a numbing $8. Tipu also got organic chips for $5 that I have to admit were good. I was hesitant to try them in fear of bread-like results but they turned out pretty normal. How could you screw up chips though? Organic potatoes and organic oil still outputs normal tasting chips thank God. Tipu also bought a banana for over a dollar which must’ve been good but I don’t like that fruit so I passed.

Hmmm… I wonder if the bread can be used a floatation device.

    Interesting though…
Now I wonder if there are people out there who eat all organic…is that even possible…I mean with the prices you have told me here seems someone would go backrupt lol!

unfortunately organic has become a luxury. perhaps as the market grows the prices will go down.

what is organic foods anyway? the term “organic” doesn’t seem to fit so well mainly cuz anything you eat IS organic. Also production of organic foods aren’t as efficient as “non”-organic foods. the fact that these farmers don’t use pesticides on their food can screw us over too. so in return, we are paying extra for food that tastes like crap, makes us bankrupt and is possibly more harmful. i say we just stick to traditional inhumane methods of food production (aka using pesticides) because the benefits easily outweigh the cons (atleast for now). okbye.

it doesn’t really outweigh the cons, in terms of health anyways. Economy wise, sure. I do know ppl that ONLY eat organic, it’s quite unreal.

But I just came to talk about your bread… now do you know why I started eating wheat again?

It’s amazing that they can run a successful business catering to rich hippies.

If you don’t want your packing material I’ll take it.. I’m gonna need that kind of stuff for when I move.

ndawg: i’d prefer organic if i could afford it

shaheen: so all rice bread tastes awful?

rob: let us know when you’re moving, mohammad and i will come and help

Your bread will likely make a good murder weapon, once it’s expired. Then you can eat the loaf, and remove any evidence of foul play.
