Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

I’m trying to read for fun again. I haven’t had a chance for non-textbooks in a really long time. Starting off really light w/ Harry Potter.

I wish I hadn’t seen all of the movies. The imagination is much richer when it hasn’t been stunted through seeing the movie. However the movies were quite true to the text it seems. Anyways a very good book. I find the short chapters satisfying since I’m a slow reader. Lots of concrete imagery of silly and mystical things. Solid, likeable characters.
