I do not have realistic goals. When ever I estimate how long a certain task should take, it turns to be double or triple. I’m so fricken’ arrogant. I’m writing a paper for my micro/nano fabrication course. It has to be 20 pages, double-spaced thank God, and I thought I could easily finish it in a day since I chose a topic I was comfortable with. Originally I had chosen flat-panel display fabrication processes because I know so little about it. I thought the paper would force me to learn. It would’ve worked if I had started sooner but I had to tame down my academic expedition. Instead I chose an integrated circuit (IC) fabrication (specifically metal gates and thin-film dielectrics but I may need to expand it to a few more topics to increase page length). I have a wealth of information to draw from because I took a class on that last semester so I have notes, projects and references. So I, being completely complacent and daft and arrogant, thought I could finish it in one day so I could start studying on my impossible MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) exam on thursday. The 20-page extravaganza is due tuesday. It is currently 2.51am and I have 2 pages written. I hope atleast I can finish by tomorrow. I need to. I really really really really need to.
*Pat pat* think of it as a learning experience. how else will you learn to time manage better and keep pushing yourself to procrastinate less? OPTIMISM!!!!
Don’t feel bad! You’re not the only one
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I thought you had learned that didn’t work in VLSI!
Remember, you’ve gotta learn from past experience and apply it to present and future projects to lessen the self-inflicted pain and misery
The paper that would not die!!!!!!!!!! What the bunk!!! The paper is strictly fabrication. You can’t include plots if it’s fabrication yaar!! At best you can have pics of the processes broke down. How lame!!!!! This is completely the world gone mad!!!!!! I actually want to write about my eternal foe known as PHYSICS and I am unable to!!!!!!!! I want to ….
hmm… who are you. and what did you do with nusraat? I haven’t heard you complain about school with so many exclamation marks before.
But yeah, as Rob said… you’re not the only one. Unfortunately you just gotta get down to it, put your mind to it, you can’t get a runaround to it…. hahaha. u know what i mean. there are no ways out, just get it done. Buss.
And what is this? the faculty of engineering? even chris is here! (I thought I would be getting away from these people……)
Please make du’aa for me. It’s time to initiate the Power of Two.
initiated
I am a whole new breed of stupid. So all of this time I’ve been writing my dumb ass paper single-spaced thinking 10 pages of that would equate to roughly 20 pages double-spaced. I finished around 8 pages, went to double-space it and to my utter horror found that it had only grown to 11 pages.
When the bunk am I going to study for MEMS?
I have not been sleeping well but let me tell you, I’ve been eating fabulously.
Someone needs to keep sharp objects away from me.
i like rusty spoons. that isn’t a sharp object. but it can give you tetanus, if you somehow manage to puncture yourself with it.
handed it in 10 minutes before due time/date
went to see MEMS prof, told him i’ve been relying on his notes, he said “read the text”
zia, stop disguising yourself as “buy viagra online” we all know you dirty little scams won’t work.
sfdfsf
I get “buy viagra online” in my email. I’m always like..hey how did they know?
i’m glad the facade stayed up as long as it did
hahahha yeah me too… kids these days
(btw just a funny note.. my password was GG4me. haha, now i gotta go find my gg)
